But the enemies are so spongy they can suck up liquid over 10km radius.

Alicia Vikander Cast As Lara Croft In ‘Tomb Raider’

How was I not aware of this?! April 28th?! Man, that short hiatus I took from social media due to Game of Thrones coming out really set me back on my movie news! I was under the impression that the rumours were still about Daisy Ridley being in talks to play the role - someone I already wanted to be Lara before there was even any such talk of that.

But I have to say... Alicia Vikander? I'm in. She's a terrific actress (hot too but that's not the point), and she's definitely got the looks for it. She's not British, though, but who the Bird cares, right? I'm sure she can pull this off extremely well. For reference, she's mostly known for, most recently:

- The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (Gaby Teller)
- The Danish Girl (Gerda Wegener; she won an Oscar for this)

And she's going to be in Jason Bourne too.

I found a Superman fan comic online. I love it.

It really manages to capture the essence of who the character is, with art definitely inspired by one of the greatest Supes comic books of all time (All-Star Superman), and all of that in just 8(!) panels.
